2. NICK KNIGHT & KWABENA
One day Kwabena accompanied a friend to a fashion shoot and was approached by fashion photographer Nick Knight who persuaded him to join in the shoot. This chance encounter led to a long lasting collaboration and together they created ground breaking campaigns and images for top fashion designers.
It was during one of these shoots that Nick’s stylists, Simon Foxton brought in a pair of wooden glasses that he had carried around for years. Kwabena picked them and tried them on, they looked great on him. Simon had never been able to carry them off, he thought it was now time they had a new owner and gave them to Kwabena.
